- Are your shape’s sides equal or not
equal?
- What is the degree of each angle?
- How many lines of symmetry does
your shape have?
- Name three objects that are the
same shape as the one you are researching.
- BONUS: Give the total sum of your
shape’s angles when they are added up.

the same shape as your shape (Must be objects that you listed in your

In order to find out information about your shape, you may use:
The websites that I have given you below, type questions into
Google on Internet Explorer (As we have previously practiced), our classes Go
Math Textbook and any prior knowledge you may have.
This website lists information about: A shape’s number of sides, angles,
sum of angles added up, and lines of symmetry.
Once on this website, click on the name of your shape to find out
information about your shape’s sides and angles.
Once on this website, click
on the words, “ENTER DICTIONARY HERE.” Use the letters on the side as you would
a dictionary. If your shape is “SQUARE,” you would click, “S.” Then find your
shape’s name in the list of "S" words. This website will give you information on
sides, symmetry and angles. Some of the dictionary words have a quiz to test
you on your shape’s information.
This website discusses some
real-world objects that have similar shapes as our 2-D ones.
